Our community hall s situated in the heart of Puncknowle village at the junction of Church Street, Looke Lane and Clay Lane. It is a Community facility serving the villages of West Bexington, Swyre and Puncknowle.

It is available for hire by individuals for private functions, by clubs and other associations, by commercial ventures, companies, charities, public bodies and other organisations and by those who wish to start up new activities for the benefit of the people of the three villages and beyond.

· Crockery and cutlery etc. for approx. 60 people.

· Tables and chairs,

· disabled toilets and baby changing facility
· Small enclosed yard

There is seating and crockery/cutlery for approximately 60 persons, but many more may be accommodated when seating for all is not required. Maximum occupancy for safety reasons is 100 people.

Hire charges for new bookings for the Village Hall will be as follows:
Individuals, organisations and/or clubs etc. from the villages of Puncknowle, Swyre and West Bexington. £6.00 per hour
Individuals, organisations and/or clubs etc. from other than the villages of Puncknowle, Swyre and West Bexington. £7.00 per hour.
Costs for Government, Local Government and other official bodies, and commercial enterprises are available on application to the Bookings Secretary.

Setting up and cleaning up – to be carried out and completed within the hire period, unless otherwise agreed with the management committee.

The kitchen may be used for the preparation of tea/coffee/soft drinks and the use of appropriate crockery and cutlery etc. at no extra charge. Use of the kitchen for preparation/cooking/serving of food, will attract a supplementary charge of £10.00 for each booking.

The hall is licensed for entertainment and for the sale of alcohol. Permission for hirers to sell alcohol is at the sole discretion of the management committee. Subject to such permission, a supplementary charge of £10.00 for each booking will be made. At the discretion of the Management Committee, concessionary rates may be granted for Registered Charities and fund raising events for them, for a start-up period for a new club/association, for bookings of 4 hours or more, and on block bookings of 6 hours or more.
