Neighbourhood Plan

Village Drop-in Forums took place in all three villages on Thursday 2nd November (6pm till 8pm) and Friday 3rd November (10am till 12 noon). Puncknowle’s Drop-in was in the village hall, Swyre’s was held in the Church and West Bexington’s was held in The Manor.

We listened to what’s important to each other and discussed various decisions that will shape the future of our local area and may impact our children and grandchildren.

Please support these meetings if you can. Our Parish Council and community-led plan sets out how we wish our Parish to develop over the next 15 to 20 years highlighting what is locally distinctive and sets out the principles of planning and developmental issues. The plan is about eliciting views from all community residents and business owners around questions such as: What is good / bad about the area? What are the neighbourhood qualities as a place to live and work? What issues affect the area (now or in the future)? What change/s would you like to see? What is your experience of running a business in the area?

A survey will include similar questions, the visions and aims of the Neighbourhood Plan will be developed from the responses. If you would like to be actively involved in the process, please contact:
